In the Chicagoland area, the nights are becoming noticeably cooler. Instead of blasting the air conditioning, our windows are now open and enjoying a nice breeze. While sleeping is more comfortable, it also means that we are heading into fall and closing in on the end of the year.
For most of us, the end of the year means more patient volume and in particular elective surgery as people want to take advantage of met deductibles and flex care spending.
Besides just relying on the inevitable increases at this time of year that usually make the financial success of many practices, there are simple strategies that can be implemented to improve patient care and satisfaction as well as help your practice/business bottom line.
