Dealing with Patient Experience in the Days of COVID

This past week, I visited a doctor for my own medical care for the first time since COVID.  My experience was far from great.

With all the concerns about ensuring that patients do not have COVID, social distancing, careful interactions, etc, the patient experience has been put on the back burner.  I really did not like how I was treated throughout my visit.

It got me thinking about my business….and yours.

Take a look at this week’s video where I talk about my less than desirable experience, key thoughts about why it failed, and what you can do to be mindful that your business is not doing the same thing.

We are in medicine to treat patients in a great environment.

While the world has changed, our missions have not.

We need to make sure we think about the patient and what they are experiencing.

I hope this video will create some questions that you will consider in order to make a better experience for your patients.
