Last Saturday was an interesting day.
One of our busiest offices that has seven treatment rooms, an MRI, physical therapy, six doctors working there throughout the week as well as residents and students, has chronically been a mess. Not too long ago, we gave the office a face lift to increase space in the reception area, improve flow, and increase efficiency for the overall patient experience.
Even with the facelift, however, there was still a bit of a “fraternity house” feel to the place. We’ve recently added some physicians to the space and in order to create a positive working environment, members of our team thought it necessary to do another makeover to the space and that was how we spent the first half of our Saturday. Frankly, it should have been a reality TV show by what went on to clean the place up and how it looked at the end. What a difference!
After we finished at the office, my wife and I had to get our house ready for someone to look at as we’re trying to sell it after being there for 17 years. It’s interesting to compare getting our house ready to sell and keeping the office clean and tidy.
This week’s video talks about those similarities and whether you are keeping your office “Real Estate Ready”.
If you’re not, you really should.
Have a great week.
