In the fourth part of our series on “Planning for 2021,” we talk about how to communicate your 2021 goals and plans with your team. Inadequate communication with your team and organization is a common thing I hear from staff at all levels of medical practices. We have seen this through FABI, as well as with Weil Foot & Ankle, whether it be our team or practices who join our growing Podiatry focused company.
Communication is not easy for many of you. You may be uncomfortable addressing your staff or can’t find the time to write emails or other forms of written communication to let people know what you are doing with the business. However, it is one of the most important things to do as a leader. People want to hear from the leader and understand the desires and directions of the company.
So now that you’ve set your goals for 2021, established your budget, and planned the timing of all the initiatives, you now must communicate it to your team.
