At the beginning of the Pandemic, and truthfully through much of it, the primary question we were all asking ourselves was “Are we going to make it through this?” This question related to our practice, but not just as it affected us personally, but also how it affected our teams.

If you’re anything like me, one of the biggest challenges we faced in 2020 was keeping our team employed as we moved through the ups and downs of the year. It really felt like that line from Game of Thrones – “Winter is coming”.

Now that the country, and the world, is slowly opening back up, I thought that Winter had come and gone, and we were going to start moving into spring. It turns out though, that coming out of the pandemic for many practices, is proving harder that making your way through it!

Little did I know that “Winter is coming” wasn’t referring to 2020 and the pandemic, but what comes next. Having access to the inner workings of some of the most profitable practices in podiatry, I’ve learned that there are several key elements to making our way through this “Winter”, so we can make it out on the other side.
