Here we are, in the early stages of February, and like clockwork I’m hearing complaints from our doctors that the patient volume is so low and the sky is falling. This happens every year in February for us and for most around the country.
What makes matters worse is that February is also one of the worst weather months of the year. It’s cold, the sun rarely is seen, and beautiful white snow turns dirty and gross.
For many people, they let all of this get them down and become seasonally depressed.
I’ve tried to tell our doctors that this happens every year and it will be ok, but we still get the same reaction, year after year.
If your clinic and surgeries are slow, use this time wisely to prepare for the coming months when things are bound to pick up.
I talk about some of the things you can consider doing during the February slump in this week’s video.
Have a great week.
