Those of us expecting an exciting Super Bowl last Sunday with Tom Brady pitted against Patrick Mahomes were pretty disappointed by the dominance of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While hoping for a high scoring shootout between the greatest quarterback of all time and the greatest quarterback of today, we instead saw a methodical, and dare I say, surgical, approach by Tampa Bay and their undisputed leader, Tom Brady.
As you have seen over the years, I am a passionate football fan and crazy Chicago Bears fan. My two favorite teams are the Bears and whoever is playing the Packers.
The Bears have rarely played against Tom Brady so I haven’t developed a negative opinion of him and have a genuine respect for his success.
I found myself having a different feeling during this playoff season and during the Super Bowl.
His excellence should be celebrated and studied.
