We all care deeply about patients having a positive impression and experience in our organizations and with us as physicians.
We take the negative comments hard and get elated with the positive ones.
However, that is no way to truly understand what patients think of us.
For the last six months or so, we have been conducting surveys of all patients who come through our organization. Every patient receives an email and/or text asking them to fill out a survey.
The results are fantastic….not because it is all positive, but rather that it gives us information that we can act on. We can look to improve areas of opportunity and celebrate and enhance the areas of success.
