Last week, in the first part of the series on adding an Associate to your practice, I gave several reasons on why a practice should consider adding an associate or more. This week I want to talk about how to find the right one.
I am commonly asked where to find someone who is going to be the right fit. Many more experienced physicians think the younger doctors entering the profession don’t have a great work ethic.
I completely disagree.
I have consistently found smart, dedicated, personable young podiatrists who have been fantastic fits for our organization. You just must know where to look and what to look for.
This week’s video covers some of those ideas.
It’s important that you know what you are looking for and the right questions to ask when interviewing candidates and make sure you talk to several people before choosing the right one.
Adding an associate can have real benefits to you and your practice and it’s never too early to start looking.
Have a great long weekend!
