This is the time of year that new Associates are starting with practices now that they’ve finished residency and/or fellowship and have taken some time to get ready for the start of their career.
We have onboarded many Associates over the years and this year our combined organization has added 15 new Associates that are starting now.
I’ve also seen many practices add Associates over my career and can tell you there is a path to success and a path to certain failure.
Adding an Associate (or more) can be one of the most rewarding things you do in your business lifecycle. You can provide more care in your practice, help a young podiatrist be successful, and create more profitably and value for your business. It can also be a disaster if done poorly.
In this week’s video, I talk about some of the key strategies we employ to ensure our Associate’s success and what it can mean to you and your practice.
Whether you are onboarding an Associate right now or considering doing so in the future, this video will help you strategize for success.
Have a great week.
