This past week, I was in Las Vegas for the ACFAS Annual Scientific Conference.
With the CDC announcement of vaccinated people not needing to wear masks, this was mostly a mask free meeting and the hotels and restaurants were mask free for the first time in 14 months. It felt great.
However, the whole meeting felt off. Lecture halls were sparse. The exhibit area was empty and there was a lack of overall energy….that is unless you went to the Novastep/Carbon22 Party Wednesday night that I talked about a month or so ago. Many of you attended and boy….we had a great time.
A beautiful night at a beautiful venue with great people.
I gave four lectures during the week on surgical topics yet, the questions I was asked after the sessions, in the exhibit hall, or at the party inevitably were about the business of the practice. There were some common themes in the questions, and I talk about them in this week’s video.
As a result of those questions, I decided that we needed to help the larger group and not just one on one questions, so we are hosting webinars over the next few weeks.
The first two are this Thursday, May 27 at 8 pm Eastern and Saturday morning, May 29 at 10 am Eastern.
